Redefining Weather Intelligence
for the AI Era

Extreme weather is becoming the new normal. Forecasts built on outdated data can't keep up. At Skyfora, we transform existing GNSS infrastructure into the world's most advanced atmospheric observation network — powering sharper, faster forecasts for industries, governments, and communities worldwide.

What We Are Solving

Forecasts fail because data fails.

Forecasts don't fail because meteorologists lack skill or because AI isn't powerful enough — they fail because the data feeding them is outdated, sparse, and incomplete.

Low refresh rates.

Most global weather models are still driven by observations latency and updated only every three or six hours. That's fine for longer term planning or outlooks — but useless when storms intensify or change hours before impact.

Sparse networks.

The world has only ~900 WMO radiosonde launch sites. That leaves vast blind spots, especially in the tropics and across the Global South — the very places where hurricanes, floods, and heatwaves initiate and do the most damage.

Shallow inputs.

Traditional methods capture limited slices of the atmosphere. They miss ability to process denser, real-time, vertical profiles to understand how storms develop and their damage potential.

AI bottleneck.

Even the most advanced AI weather models can't outperform the quality of their training and inference input data. Without dense, real-time atmospheric data, they're forced to approximate what they can't see.

The result? Late warnings, sub-optimal forecasts, economic losses measured in the hundreds of billions, and preventable loss of life.

Skyfora exists to fix this — by unlocking a new class of atmospheric data that's denser, faster, and global.

Our Innovation & Impact

GNSS Meteorology at Scale

Skyfora activates millions of GNSS receivers already embedded in telecom towers. Together with humidity data from our own StreamGNSS network, we transform these signals into real-time atmospheric profiles, updated every minute.

This means higher accuracy, faster refresh, and coverage in regions traditional networks overlook.

Real-World Impact

Better data doesn't just mean better forecasts — it means:

Lives saved through earlier warnings

Industries harvesting the weather, also with better risk planning

Climate resilience for vulnerable regions
