Stream Sonde DS

Our ultralight dropsonde, StreamSonde DS, weighs only 80 grams. Thanks to its optimized aerodynamic shape, it descends as slowly as 5m/s at sea level, without the distraction of a parachute. The slow descent, prolonged measurement time, and lightweight design allow it to catch updrafts like no instrument before it, providing detailed information on winds and turbulence. This new and crucial data improves storm forecasting and research.
